FACEBOOK BEFORE YOU START

Always be authentic and genuine to yourself. Be interesting. 

Your friends are your friends for a reason so remember that when you’re planning content. What did you like to read on Facebook before you were building a business? 

That’s what they want to see now.


Consistency is key. Map out your 10 X 4 X 1 System


Why do we use Facebook to propel our business forward?


Facebook is a TOOL that we, as associates, use to help brand ourselves and allow our friends, family, acquaintances KNOW about the gift we have to offer. 

80% of YOUR BUSINESS will come through leads created by Facebook. Facebook is a LEAD GENERATION tool.


There are a few simple steps in the Facebook System

  1. Read the Facebook Cheat Sheet document
  2. Begin to visualize YOUR team. What qualities are you looking to attract? Who would be your ideal cleanser and/or business partner? Take time to either list or describe the characteristics of this person.

10 - 4 - 1 System

  • 10 of your posts should be about topics that interest YOU and would interest YOUR business partners and cleansers. They should not be about Isagenix.
  • of your posts are directly about Isagenix. But in order to effectively work the system, and to stay compliant, we do not mention the name Isagenix, instead we use the term “Nutritional Cleansing”.
    • Example: 2 posts could be Product Transformation photos/stories, and 2 posts could be Business Testimonials. All of these can and SHOULD be found on Team Arrow or one of the other Isagenix sponsored Facebook Groups.
    • DO NOT POST ANY TRANSFORMATION PHOTO THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE IS FROM ISAGENIX.
  • of your posts is your POWER POST.
    • This is typically done (and recommended) to be posted at 8 PM on Sunday nights. This post is designed to draw the most attention to what you are building. Look at it as a billboard, if you only get 3 seconds of people’s attention as they’re scrolling through their newsfeeds, what would you say to catch their eye? Do not hesitate to work with your coach on developing your first few.
    • A good way to keep up with the NUMBER of posts, develop themes for each day. Your themes can be YOUR choice, and remember, they should be targeted towards your IDEAL prospect.


Those examples are not strict guidelines, but more so an idea of what many people do. Not every post has to be aligned with what you choose the theme to be. We find that we really only make my AM and PM post themed, the rest we just let come to me throughout the day.


FACEBOOK GROUPS

Choose a few groups based around your passions. Aim to become a person of value in these groups and be intentional creating connections with other members. When you feel appropriate utilize messenger to continue the relationship and bring any inquiries made online to offline as soon as possible.

PEAK TIMES

Get really clear on the PEAK posting times. These are:

  • 7-9 AM (Best Time)
  • 12-1 PM
  • 4 PM
  • 8-10 PM (Best Time)


Here are a few notes on peak posting hours:

  • 7-9 AM and 8-10 PM are by far the MOST seen, so save your interesting content for these times!
  • Morning posts are most liked/commented on when they involve some type of motivational/funny/inspiring/interesting content, NOT transformation photos!
  • Nightly posts are the most seen, so save your team shout outs, transformation photos, and any powerful messages for 8-10 PM

HOW TO ENGAGE WITH PEOPLE

To increase initial and long term engagement on your facebook, friend/follow 5 people from the Healthy Body Business Team Facebook Page. This will allow you to see what they do, which may help and inspire your posts. This is also important because when we make important posts, we do some “behind the scenes” work.


After you make a powerful post (not to be confused with your power post), one that deserves attention and will intrigue your followers, send a group facebook message to 6-8 members of the HBTeam FB page and ask for them to like and comment on your photo. This is only appropriate during PEAK times and for posts that are powerful.

WORK SMARTER WITH PRE-PLANNING

If you are a very busy person, and the idea of constantly having to remember to post on Facebook overwhelms you, HAVE NO FEAR!! Buffer or Post Planner will allow you to input your posts ahead of time, set a “buffer time” and the app will save your posts and prompt you to manually push them through to your Instagram feed and then you can copy and paste them to your Facebook page! Planning is KEY when it comes to social media.

CREATE CURIOSITY WITH DO'S AND DONT'S

Create curiosity so people are inclined to come to you. 

Utilize terminology like “nutritional cleansing” or “nutritional program” instead of using the word Isagenix so people come to you for information.

  • Don’t verbally vomit or shamelessly promote yourself/business. Never be negative, political, derogatory, and condescending with the opportunity or lifestyle.
  • Show the lifestyle through pictures, words, excitement, passion. Provide value and entertainment so people are inclined to follow you.
  • Brand yourself as the go to person for all the solutions that Isagenix represents.
  • Utilize the inbox system. Private message 5-7 people to draw traffic to a primetime post. Connect your new people to others on the team and assist them with this process until they are comfortable doing it on their own.
  • When potential prospects comment on a post or inbox you, always send a private message to set up the appointment. Don’t verbally vomit, send links, or explain through an inbox. Just set the appointment online so you can then take it offline.
  • Join groups to build relationships. Don’t spam them with your products/services but use them to connect, ask questions, and create new leads that you can add as friends.
  • Know the purpose of the groups we utilize as a team. Team Arrow Business Group  is to celebrate, update, and educate on the business only. No product questions, no complaining, and no negativity. Only add people who are QUALIFIED AND SERIOUS. If you’re new, have your coach assist you.
  • Team Arrow Cleanse Group is for celebrating, updating, and educating about the products. It’s only for cleansers enrolled on our team. Any negativity or profanity will be deleted and banned.
  • Your profile picture should be a clean, clear picture of only you. No children, pets, spouses, etc. Your timeline photo is the first picture people see. It should be a powerful quote or something representative of who you are.

  • In the social sphere, engagement is key. More engagement not only indicates a better response from fans, but also boosts your content.
  • Live videos are definitely winning on this front. They get six more times interaction than regular Facebook videos and have received more than 150 billion responses from fans.
  • You can get started with Facebook Live video using nothing more than your mobile device. With so much potential to connect directly with fans and new customers in real time, this is a marketing tool that’s worth exploring for all businesses.

INCREASE ENGAGEMENT

While we may not understand the intricacies of what makes the Instagram algorithm tick, we do know several factors that determine how your post will perform and how many people will see it!

  1. Know how often to post (Wall- least 1x a day, Stories-periodically throughout the day to show lifestyle)
  2. Don’t preach, tell a story instead.
  3. Make your Instagram branding matter (Isagenix App)
  4. Explore the full range of Instagram video formats (video, live, tv)
  5. Be strategic when using hashtags (up to 30 in comments for post on wall)
  6. Use Instagram filters and third party apps to separate yourself from the masses (you want your posts to pop out from the rest)
  7. Engage with audience (Host a contest, ask a question, request a comment below etc.)
  8. Focus on user generated content
  9. Unlock the potential of Instagram Stories
  10. Use emojis effectively
  11. Promote your Instagram channel on other social accounts
  12. Add a compelling call to action
  13. Track and learn from your best-performing Instagram content
  14. Use the search engine for targeted engagement
  15. Use location services to connect with people in a specific area

  1. Tap the plus button on the top-left side of your home screen or swipe left in your Feed.
  2. Tap the circle button at the bottom of the screen to take photos or tap and hold to record a video.
  3. Edit the photos or videos with text or add a drawing as you normally would.
  4. Show your lifestyle. Use periodically throughout the day. Be creative with the products, your routine, be inspirational.
  5. You can link your Instagram stories to your Facebook stories in settings (don’t do double work!)

How to Use Hashtags

  1. Using Hashtags for Instagram makes your content more discoverable.
  2. You don’t need to use 30 hashtags in every post.
  3. Study your competitors and top influencers to find the best hashtags.
  4. Make sure your hashtags are relevant.
  5. Use trending hashtags and tie them back to your business.
